Policies & Procedures

At New Leaf Centre, we are committed to delivering high-quality alternative provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our policies and procedures underpin all aspects of our practice and are designed to ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive environment in which every learner can thrive academically, emotionally and socially.

The safeguarding and welfare of our learners is our highest priority. We maintain robust safeguarding arrangements in line with current statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). Our approach is underpinned by a strong culture of vigilance, early intervention and effective partnership working.

We work closely with local authorities, commissioners, families and other professionals to ensure the effective delivery of our provision. All policies are reviewed at least annually, or sooner where required, to ensure they remain compliant, up to date and reflective of best practice.

A selection of key policies is available below. A full suite of policies and procedures is available on request from the centre office.
